Celine Dion, a French-Canadian singer, said on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome, a rare neurological illness.
Celine Dion addressed her millions of admirers around the world on
Thursday about a rare neurological disease with which she has been
diagnosed in a comprehensive video message broadcast on the social media
site Instagram.
"I was recently diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder called
stiff person syndrome, which affects about one in a million people," she
explained.
"While we're actually finding out about this interesting condition, we
presently realize this is the thing that's been causing every one of the
fits I've been having," Dion referred to the muscle fits which made her
delay her prior Europe shows from the visit.
"Sadly, these fits influence each part of my regular routine, once in a
while causing hardships when I walk and not permitting me to utilize my
